While Adelaide Congress Hall was in Medan, the senior and junior band members of BBJ took the opportunity to learn all they could from ACH members.
This is the Australian Salvation Army band that joined us during the concert. We were very, very happy to have them with us.
We had several soloists during the evening. There was a euphonium player from Australia, a cornet player from BBJ's junior band, and a singer from Medan.
These pictures show the "band bergabung" (combined band) in action. It consisted of Adelaide Congress Hall, BBJ and members of the Salvation Army's Jakarta Corps II band.
Every concert has its formalities. BBJ gave a special trophy to our Australian guests, we cut the cake, and - of course - there was the "ulos".
The beginners's band did not perform at the concert. But on the following day they wowed everybody with a fine performance during the Sunday morning service.
Just a few photographs of some of the people in the audience.
BBJ's main band in action!
BBJ's junior band performed three pieces.
